We remain deeply concerned about the ongoing violence in Congo. We urge the U.S. government as well as other global governments and the U.N. to hold perpetrators including the Rwanda and Ugandan governments accountable for crimes committed in Congo. We recommend among other things: 1. Sanction implicated top military leaders 2. Withhold military aid from implicated governments
